Draft for legal review. The terms below describe how Eldour actually works, but a lawyer must review them and fill in the [bracketed] items (the operating company, governing law, fees and liability cap) before launch.
Terms of service
Draft 2 · October 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between [operating company, address, registration number] (“we”, “us”) and the restaurant or business that creates an account (“you”, the “Client”). “Guests” are the people who use your Eldour pages (your customers). By creating an account, or by letting anyone use Eldour for your business, you accept these terms.
2. The service
Eldour provides three services, each of which you can subscribe to separately: Digital Pager (order numbers, a branch QR code and live order status), Live Queue (a virtual waiting list) and Online Reservations (a booking page and approval workflow). We do not process payments between you and your Guests.
3. Branch licences
Each service is licensed per branch. A “branch” is one physical place where you serve Guests (a restaurant, café, kiosk or counter). A licence lets one branch use one service. Your plan states how many branches may hold a licence for each service.
- One licence, one place. You may use a service only at the branches that hold its licence. You may not use a licensed branch's order numbers, QR code, queue, booking page, number slips or staff sign-ins to serve Guests at any other location, whether or not that location is registered with us.
- Register every branch. You must register each of your branches in Eldour and assign licences only to the branches that really use them. Registering a branch does not license it.
- More branches, more licences. If you want to use a service at another branch, ask us for an additional licence first. Fees for additional branches follow your plan or our then-current price list.
- Moving a licence. You may move a licence from one branch to another only when a branch really closes or changes, and not more often than the waiting period shown under Settings → Branches (currently 30 days). You may not rotate a licence between branches to cover more locations than you have paid for.
- No workarounds. You may not bypass or interfere with licence limits, for example by sharing one branch's printed QR code or staff accounts across several locations, by registering a branch only to use it somewhere else, or by creating extra accounts to avoid counting branches.
Checking compliance. To check that these rules are followed we measure, per branch and per service, how much the service is used: counts of records created, the number of different staff accounts that created them, active days and peak hourly volume, and we log every licence change. We do not use Guests' names, contact details or order contents for this. You agree to answer our reasonable questions about where you use the service.
If a branch is used without a licence. We may (a) ask you to explain and to put the licences in order within a reasonable period we set, (b) charge the licence fees that would have applied to the extra branches from the date they started using the service, (c) restrict or suspend the service for the affected branch or for your account if the situation is not corrected after notice, and (d) end the agreement for repeated or deliberate breach. These rights are in addition to any others we have.
4. Your account and your staff
You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep sign-in details secret, give staff only the role they need, and remove people who leave. Staff seats are limited by your plan. Accounts are for people who work for you; do not share one account between several people.
5. Guests and personal data
For information about your Guests (names, phone numbers, bookings) you are the data controller and we are your processor, acting on your instructions as described in our Privacy policy. You must have a lawful basis for collecting that information and tell your Guests what you collect and why. You decide what your queue and booking forms ask for. The optional guest-breakdown rules and sensitive booking fields are tools you configure and disclose; you are responsible for using them lawfully and for the decisions you make with them. Do not collect more than you need.
6. Notifications
Alerts (browser push, WhatsApp, email) depend on devices, browsers and third-party providers and are not guaranteed. A Guest's status page is the authoritative source of their order, queue or booking status. You must only message Guests who agreed to it, and you are responsible for the accounts and approvals required by your messaging providers.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Eldour: no unlawful content, no attempts to break into or overload the service, no scraping of other clients' pages, no guessing of other clients' links or numbers, and no use that harms Guests. Logos and text you upload must be yours to use.
8. Fees and billing
Fees depend on the services, plan and number of licensed branches you choose: [fees, currency, billing period, payment terms, taxes]. Until online payment is available we invoice you directly. If an invoice stays unpaid we may move a service to read-only and then suspend it, after notice. Trials end on the date shown in your account.
9. Availability and your data
We work to keep Eldour available but do not promise uninterrupted service. You can export and delete your Guests' data using the tools in the product. After a subscription ends your data stays readable for the period shown in the product and is then deleted or anonymised on the schedule in our Privacy policy.
10. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost sales caused by an outage or a missed notification, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to [amount, e.g. the fees you paid in that period]. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Eldour at any time and cancel your plan as described in your account. We may suspend or end the service if you breach these terms (see section 3 for licence breaches) or if the law requires it, normally after notice and a chance to fix the problem.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we will tell you about material changes before they apply. These terms are governed by [governing law, e.g. the laws of Egypt] and disputes go to [courts / arbitration]. Questions: [support email address].
